Hi John W, Thanks for your answer. You can see my update here: It may take 20 or so minutes, but after that time, the driver was successfully installed on my system.

Sadly I deleted my W10 partition because testing it without audio was just too uncomfortable for me, there’s a lot of stuff I can’t do without having audio and it was driving me nuts.
